But of course, if you ask an Aegean person, he will take a short cut by saying “eaten”. Aegean people with a comfortable disposition do not want to think about the different names of figs. On the other hand, the fruit is actually the name given to the fresh form of fig. If you visit the Aegean between July and September, you will find plenty of fruits.

I think the best way to eat figs is in the early morning, freshly picked from the tree. The local people call the fig eaten in this way “Sabah doctor”. Figs collected in the morning are more delicious. In addition, local people believe that two figs eaten before breakfast strengthen the metabolism and protect against diseases.

In labada soup, it is first boiled in laba to remove the bitterness, then filtered and cut into small pieces. It is mixed with roasted onion and tiny cubed potatoes and added to the “umach” (mixture of milk and flour) and semolina to thicken it. While serving, sprinkle grated “dry” (or dry yogurt) on it.
The final touches were put on the conference day and the results were dishes that appreciated the material, evaluated the stem of the vegetable, the skin of the fruit, and put stale bread in different disguises. The philosophy behind the lunch was to create from nothing, to preserve, increase and suffice in relation to the topic of the conference.

It is possible to apply these meals at the SEVEN “Soul’s Full Lunch” or to adapt them. These are dishes from different corners of Anatolia that are in traditional cuisine but are increasingly forgotten. We chose one dish from each region and listened to their recipes from those who cooked them.

This technique I mentioned differs again when it goes further east than Aydın. The 1 – 2 meter high tunnels are covered with nylon and open at both ends, like a simple greenhouse. Dried figs resting on a cover at the bottom of the tunnels dry up thanks to the prevailing winds blowing from the open East-West end. In the meantime, homogeneous drying is achieved by checking the figs from time to time and turning them over. However, figs are never, ever checked after dark. Because a light source is needed to control it, light attracts flies and insects like a magnet in just a few minutes. Flies can leave their eggs in the fig and cause the fig to be mothed and spoil rapidly.
Now we dried the fig. So how should he eat? If you ask me, dip the dried figs directly into the roasted sesame seeds and put it in your mouth. But of course there are other ways. For example, you can open the heart of a fig and fill it with walnuts grown in the mountains. They sometimes put peanuts in the area. In this way, they first dip into tahini and then thirst. Another way is to put the dried figs on the stove in the winter, heat them slightly, and then dip them in thirst.

Hanging a backpack from a hook or placing it on a chair or table is an ideal way to keep your backpack on a daily basis. If you need to store it long term, make sure it’s clean and empty before putting it away. (You don’t need to find hardened clumps of chewing gum in the pockets when the backpack needs to be used next.) When not in use, store it flat, dry, and clean in a plastic bin or place it on a closet shelf.

Repairs

A broken backpack is of no use, especially if there are holes and broken zippers that let contents fall out of the bag. Interior pocket rips can be mended with a needle and thread if you can physically get at the tear, which is typically on a seam. Fix exterior mesh pocket tears with similar fabric patches which will make the pocket functional again.

Depending on the design of the straps, broken ones can be fixed. If the strap goes through a buckle, you might need to cut down the strap and use an anvil to create another hole for the buckle. If a strap, zipper, or a buckle needs replacement, and the fabric is too tough to sew through with a needle and thread, consult a shoe repair professional who also has the right tools to fix handbags. Before replacing a zipper, see if pliers can’t fix bent teeth or a distorted slider.

Treating Stains on a Backpack

If the backpack says that it should not be washed, spot clean a stain using a one-to-one detergent and water solution but try not to oversaturate the fabric. Rinse using a clean white cloth dipped in plain water. Blot until no detergent or soil is transferred and air-dry the bag.

Tips for Washing a Backpack

If washing by hand, fill the tub or large sink with enough lukewarm water to cover the item and about one tablespoon of laundry detergent. Allow it to soak for 15 minutes and then swish the backpack through the water to remove soil. Drain the soapy water and rinse very well. Do not wring or twist the backpack because it can damage zippers and trim. Hang to air-dry.

If a backpack is waterproof, wash it only once or twice per year. Too much washing and detergent can lessen the pack’s ability to repel water. Waterproofing sprays can be used to replenish lost coating. Be sure the backpack is clean and completely dry before spraying.

Do not bring a backpack to the dry cleaners. The dry cleaning process and the solvents could ruin the shape and finish (especially if it’s waterproof) of your bag.

That doesn’t mean cutting corners, necessarily, but simply learning the worthwhile tricks that really work. We’ve collected a ton of hair ideas through our many beauty travels, and we’ve rounded up some of our favorites here.

1. Easy highlights

Want subtle highlights for the summer but don’t want to empty your wallet? Squeeze out an entire lemon into a dish, dip a clean toothbrush into the juice, and gently comb it through your hair. Then, go sit in the sun for about 45 minutes to an hour (wearing SPF, of course!). Do this once every two weeks or so and the lemon juice will naturally lighten your hair in the sun.

2. Get rid of static

It’s all about dryer sheets. With one sheet, smooth it over your entire head going from roots to ends. To avoid getting static altogether, rub the dryer sheets on your brushes and combs before using them on your hair.

3. Fake a full pony

Make your ponytail look fuller by using the hair clip trick. Pull your hair into a ponytail at the back of the crown of your head and secure it with a hair tie. Separate it into two sections (top and bottom), and with a small-to-medium sized claw hair clip, clip hair at the base of the ponytail, underneath the top section. Place the top section of hair over the clip and spray a bit of dry shampoo to get a fuller texture and hide the clip.

4. Tame those baby hairs

Baby hairs and cowlicks are incredibly annoying, but there’s a way to tame them. Spray a toothbrush with strong hold hairspray and comb down the baby hairs and cowlicks so they’ll sit with the rest of your hair.

5. Get silky

Sleeping on a silk pillowcase will help to prevent hair breakage and damage that can happen in the middle of the night as you toss and turn. Cotton and other textures mixed with your hair moving back and forth can create friction, which is what can cause the hair to break.

6. It’s all about that dry shampoo

A lot of the time, girls with brunette or red hair shy away from dry shampoo because of the white residue that is often left over. DIY your own dry shampoo for darker hair so that you can skip washing your hair! Mix 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of corn starch, and a dash of cinnamon. Apply at your roots and shake through with your fingers for a refreshed head of hair!

We like to consume fruits and vegetables in their season. In the kitchen of Ruhun Doysun, there is eating figs by picking them from the branch in summer, coloring the table with pumpkin in winter, and chasing fresh herbs in spring. But we also like to save its flavor and nutritional value for other seasons when we find a good ingredient. Moreover, even though it may seem troublesome at first glance, these are the ingredients that later save us time in the kitchen and add pleasure to cooking at home. Here are ways to save the indispensable tomato, eggplant and colorful fruits for winter.

Whichever method you choose, the most important point is the quality of the materials you use. Plan ahead. Shortly after getting the fruits and vegetables you want to keep, freeze, dry and jar. Do not forget to sterilize the jars and bottles you use.

Dry

We may not have enough space or time to dry fruit and vegetables outdoors in the city. Of course, you can get a fruit-vegetable dryer, but actually the lowest setting of the oven also works very well. Drying in the oven is a practical method, especially for those who live in damp places. Remember to heat your oven as low as possible and leave the door open for a few centimeters if necessary so that the moisture inside can escape.

Cream content Eye area creams used during the day contain SPF and correct the appearance of the skin throughout the day. If your product does not contain sunscreen, always use an additional sunscreen. Hyaluronic acid is a good moisturizer. It has intense water retaining properties. Moisturizing the skin well reduces the appearance of wrinkles. Seramides can be added to the contents of creams due to their moisturizing effects. AHA can be added to eye area creams used at night. It has restorative, regenerative effects.

When using eye creams, your skin type is very important! If you have a dry and dull skin type and you experience these problems more in winter, eye contour creams will be a better choice for you. On the other hand, eye cream is suitable for mixed, oily or dry skin. Although it is generally preferred in the summer months, the mild formula serums are a more suitable option for oily skin with their oil-free feature. If you have a loss of moisture, you can go for creams or serums.
