<p>Organized without a physical meeting in line with pandemic measures, the festival will include kitchen workshops, gastro shows, interviews and panels reflecting Adana&#8217;s traditional culinary riches. The festival will go beyond the borders of Adana and bring all the colors of the city to large audiences in the digital world. The festival, which will be organized under the auspices of the Adana Governorship, aims to introduce Adana&#8217;s gastronomic values ​​to the whole world.<br />
Underlining that Adana has become a city of taste with its rich culinary culture, Adana Governor Süleyman Elban said, “Our country and the whole world have entered a different period due to the pandemic. In this new period, maximum level of isolation and hygiene measures are also on our agenda. Our festival, which will be held by paying attention to social distance, will introduce Adana&#8217;s local gastronomic values ​​to the whole world. As part of the festival, we will host many famous chefs in our city and host different events. This year, we will carry the enthusiasm of our festival to digital, as our people cannot be present in the event areas due to pandemic measures. &#8220;I sincerely thank our chefs, opinion leaders, non-governmental organizations, journalists, representatives of the digital media, Adana Metropolitan Mayor and District Mayors, and all other institutions and organizations that support us, who will participate in the 4th International Adana Taste Festival.&#8221; Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar made the following statements about the festival: “The International Adana Taste Festival plays a very important role in creating a wide awareness about Adana&#8217;s rich cuisine culture. Although we cannot meet our people in the festival area this year, we will ensure the sustainability of this important event by using the opportunities of the digital world. All over the world, and due to the outbreak of coronavirus, which is effective in Turkey&#8217;s Adana Governorship theme of the festival, which was hosted digital this year, &#8220;the island with Inspiring All Colors&#8221; y. The 4th Adana Taste Festival, which witnessed colorful scenes for 3 days with culinary workshops, gastro shows, tasting sessions, interviews, stories of the leading flavor brands of the city without a physical meeting, crossed the borders of Adana and met with large masses in the digital world. Steven Raichlen greeted &#8220;Adana, the Land of Meat&#8221; from the other side of the world. The festival, where special guests were hosted, street by street Adana flavors were discovered, and we witnessed the stories of the city&#8217;s centuries-old plane trees, the festival brought together many world-famous special guests with festival lovers. One of the world&#8217;s most famous meat experts, American chef, writer and television star Steven Raichlen, who is the first name that comes to mind when meat and barbecue is mentioned, greeted &#8220;The Land of Meat Adana&#8221; from Miami, USA. The author of more than thirty books on the grid, in many countries, from Japan to the United States television shows that aired Raichle, he said he visited Turkey many times and loved Turkey, he said.</p>

<p>Şevket Azboy, who has been a kebab restaurant on Cevat Yurdakul Street in the central Seyhan district in the city for about 30 years, tasted sushi, a Far Eastern dish, in a restaurant in the past years and liked the shape of the food very much. The kebab master decided to adapt the shape of the sushi to Adana kebab and bought a kebab cooked on a barbecue and wrapped it with pita. Later, Azboy cut the pita in the shape of sushi and named the dish &#8216;sushi kebab&#8217;, which he decorated with yoghurt and butter. Stating that the people of Adana love sushi kebab, even if they are surprised when they first hear it, Azboy said that he was making sushi with meat for the first time in the city.<br />
Sushi kebab of stories based on almost 30 years of voicing Azboy Shaukat said the idea for the first time, but later that he realized that many restaurants in the spread of sushi meat kebabs in Turkey. Stating that he was hesitant to put the sushi kebab in front of the people of Adana in the first place, Azboy noted that he decided to put the sushi kebab on the restaurant menu after receiving positive reactions from the people who tasted the food.</p>

Stating that it is necessary to be open to innovation in kebab business, Azboy said, &#8220;If you are doing this job fondly, different things come to mind. You need to be innovative and always progress. You cannot catch the taste by counting where you stand. You need to work by constantly improving yourself,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Azboy said that when people heard the name of sushi, they thought the dish was made of fish, and said that the main product of sushi kebab is Adana kebab. Azboy said he sells about 30 servings of sushi kebab per day at 40 lira.</p>

All over the world, and due to the outbreak of coronavirus, which is effective in Turkey&#8217;s Adana Governorship theme of the festival, which was hosted digital this year, &#8220;the island with Inspiring All Colors&#8221; y. The 4th Adana Taste Festival, which witnessed colorful scenes for 3 days with culinary workshops, gastro shows, tasting sessions, interviews, stories of the leading flavor brands of the city without a physical meeting, crossed the borders of Adana and met with large masses in the digital world. Steven Raichlen greeted &#8220;Adana, the Land of Meat&#8221; from the other side of the world. The festival, where special guests were hosted, street by street Adana flavors were discovered, and we witnessed the stories of the city&#8217;s centuries-old plane trees, the festival brought together many world-famous special guests with festival lovers.
