Gauge 18 sts in garter st = 10 cm

Cast on 32 sts for the cuff and work 28 rows in garter st.
Purl 1 row. On the next row, k1, kfb (= knit the next st through the front and back loops), k18.

*Turn work, k8*. Repeat *–* 16 times in total.
Turn work. Using the right-hand needle, pick up and knit 8 sts along the edge.
Turn work, k8 and continue knitting until 2 sts remain. Kfb, k1.
Turn work, k21, k2tog, k4, k2tog.
