Omitting the dairy altogether results in a frittata that is, unsurprisingly, more eggy in flavor and less creamy.

Testing notes: America’s Test Kitchen recommends just three tablespoons of dairy and Bon Appetit recommends 1/2 cup. I tried both and slightly preferred the America’s Test Kitchen version, so I opted for the lower amount.
Pre-cook your vegetables, and use a lot of them
Vegetables should be tender, seasoned and cooked before adding the eggs. Raw vegetables release too much water and won’t be fully cooked by the time the eggs are done. Pre-cook your vegetables by sautéing, roasting, or steaming them to bring out their best qualities.

A large frittata made with one dozen eggs can accommodate up to three cups cooked vegetables, so that means you’ll need even more than three cups of raw vegetables!

• Do not store in the refrigerator, keep it in a kitchen cabinet, away from direct sunlight. Do not keep it near the oven or stove, protect it from excessive heat.
• Be careful not to mix it with water or immerse the wet spoon you dipped in tea into honey. Spoons with dirty food residues also cause bacterial growth.
• If you collect honey from wherever you go like me and you cannot eat it all for a long time, you can also put the honey in the freezer. However, make sure that there is a space above the honey in the jar, it can expand when frozen.
• If your honey has crystallized, soak the jar in a bowl of hot water. The crystals will disappear in a short time.
When it comes to evaluating it in the kitchen, there cannot be a pleasant breakfast like spreading honey on toasted village bread and eating it. We also recommend it with cheese. However, since tree honey is less sweet compared to flower honey, it is especially suitable for already sweet foods such as ice cream and fruit salads.

Tips and Tricks
Make sure your egg white whipping equipment is completely clean and free from fat or oil or your egg whites won’t whip up.
Similarly, make sure there are ZERO egg yolks in your egg whites.
Separate your eggs while they’re cold, but beat them up with they’re at room temp.
Don’t add all the sugar at once. Your meringue will be fluffier if you add it in gradually, 1 tablespoon at at a time.
Don’t over beat! If you meringue starts to look grainy or really wet, it means your egg whites have been over-beaten and your cloud bread won’t be fluffy.

You can stir up to one cup of grated or crumbled cheese directly into the egg mixture, or reserve some for topping the frittata. While I live for golden, bubbling cheese on pizza and lasagna, don’t aim for a golden top when it comes to frittatas. Which brings me to my next point.

Don’t overcook your frittata
Keep an eye on your frittata while it’s in the oven. Bake until the eggs are puffed and opaque, and the center of the frittata jiggles just a bit when you give it a gentle shimmy.

The frittata will continue cooking once you remove it from the oven due to residual heat. Overcooked eggs smell like sulphur and have a dry, spongey texture—not good!
How to scale this recipe
My recipes calls for twelve eggs. You can halve this recipe and use a smaller skillet (say, 8″) or baking dish. Smaller frittatas will finish baking earlier, so adjust accordingly and keep an eye on them.

Chop up your ingredients, if large.
These bars hold together best when the ingredients are quite small. If using almonds, you’ll want to either start with pre-sliced almonds, or chop them up in the food processor or by hand (same goes for all nuts). It’s easy to throw all of your mix-ins into the food processor and blitz a few times.

Press the mixture down as firmly as evenly as possible.
Air pockets will cause problems. Use a sturdy, flat-bottomed jar to make sure the mixture is pressed down completely. You might then press down with your hands to ensure it’s not trying to sneak up the sides or corners.

The oats need some time to soak up the moisture in the nut butter and sweetener. Chill the mixture for at least one hour (or as long as a day) before slicing.

Let the mixture rest for one hour or longer before using.
The oats need some time to soak up the moisture in the nut butter and sweetener. Chill the mixture for at least one hour (or as long as a day) before slicing.

I love to use soft cheeses like goat cheese. Sharp cheddar and Parmesan are delicious as well.

We’ve all been in a stylist’s chair wondering the same thing: Will I be able to recreate this look on my own? Professionals are able to create bouncy blowouts, sleek-looking strands, and the most beautiful-looking curls with what seems to be almost no effort at all. But will you be able to do the same at home? You want to make sure that you choose a haircut that you’ll be comfortable styling by yourself on a daily basis.

If you aren’t savvy when it comes to hairstyling, ask your stylist for a cut that only needs a few quick spritzes of wave spray or a dollop of the to style.

“HOW MUCH MAINTENANCE WILL THIS HAIRCUT REQUIRE?”

Similarly, you’ll also want to think about how much upkeep this look will require and whether or not you’re on board with how frequently you’ll need to come in for trims. Are you getting a stacked bob? We love it, but just know that you’ll probably be back in the salon for frequent touch-ups. Whatever you choose, much like trying a new hair color trend it’s important to think about the long-term maintenance of the look.

“DO I TRUST MY HAIRSTYLIST?”

Finding the right hairstylist is like finding a significant other—it isn’t always easy, but it’s so worth it to find someone you’re truly comfortable with. If you don’t feel comfortable with your hairstylist—for whatever reason—simply part ways and seek someone else’s opinion. They are taking scissors to your hair, after all, and even though hair grows back, you don’t want to get stuck with a haircut that isn’t what you’ve been envisioning.

“DOES THIS HAIRCUT FIT MY PERSONAL STYLE?”

This one may seem obvious, but when trying out an entirely new or different haircut, take a second to pause and ask yourself if the look you’re considering suits your personal style. We’re all for trying out new trends and looks, but the reality is that veering too far away from your personal style can make you feel uncomfortable in the long run.

A set of three cookie scoops so you always get the perfect amount of dough to make your world-famous chocolate chip cookies. A silicone bread maker that’ll take the guesswork out of making perfectly shaped and textured bread. Its design allows for steam to circulate, so your dough never loses moisture. It even comes with recipes if bread baking is as new to you as 2021 is. This mixing bowl invention is genius. Bread making always makes such a mess, but with the Lekue Silicone Bread Maker, I can mix, proof and bake all in one bowl. It was a big advantage for proofing wetter dough like crusty artisan or sourdough because transferring that wetter dough out of the proofing container without degassing it was always a challenge. Being able to do everything in one container is extremely helpful.
