Cachaça is defined in Brazilian law as a beverage with an alcohol content of 38-54% by volume, made from the distillation of fermented sugarcane juice. Distillers may add sugar to the product, at a rate of up to 6 grams per liter. Beverages containing more than 6 grams of sugar per liter must be labeled “sweet cachaça.”

To be sold as aged cachaça, a beverage must, by law, consist of at least 50% of distillate that’s at least 1 year old. (So in other words, an “aged cachaça” might consist in part of unaged cachaça. Caveat emptor, as they say.) Caramel color may be added to adjust the hue.

Last week, while describing rhum agricole, I noted that freshly pressed sugarcane juice is volatile, and therefore it needs to be fermented both quickly and close to its source of origin. The same is true in making cachaça, and as with rhum agricole, the location of a field of sugarcane can affect the flavors of a finished cachaça.

In a small bowl, mix two tablespoons of pure coconut oil (more fluid at room temperature) with three drops of rosemary oil and three drops of lavender oil. Lightly wet your hair. Apply the mixture evenly on your hair with your hands or a brush. Let it sit for 30 minutes. You can wear a shower cap to move freely. Rinse your hair and wash with shampoo.

Comb the hair open with the help of a wide-mouthed comb. Warm a head towel and wrap it around your hair. Let it sit for 30 minutes. In the meantime, you can sip a delicious chamomile tea prepared for yourself. When the time is over, wash your hair with shampoo. You can repeat the washing process several times.

Lemon-Honey: Mix 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice with 1 tablespoon of honey and heat it on the stove. For a teaspoon every hour.

Vinegar-honey: Mix 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with 2 teaspoons of honey. Take small sips.

Black radish-honey: Black radish is a miracle material for the treatment of colds and coughs. Cut the top of the turbine like a cap. Cut the bottom a little too. Play the inside with a vegetable carver (use it in a salad of course) and place the radish in a glass. Fill it with 1 teaspoon of honey. Cover the top like a lid. Leave it outside for 1 night. As the radish waits, it will pour its water into the glass. Drink 2-3 spoons a day from the water collected in the glass.

Apply the mixture to dry hair and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then wash it with a shampoo without additives and rinse. If the washing is insufficient, you can purify by washing it with vinegar again.

In a small bowl, mix a tablespoon of coconut oil, a tablespoon of honey and 3-5 drops of chamomile oil, and make a paste. Spread the mixture from the roots to the ends.

Kitchen cleaning is very important for all of us. One of the parts of a home that should be germ-free, hygienic and clean, and perhaps most importantly, the kitchen. Thanks to the developing technology and products, keeping it clean is now much easier and effortless.

In recent years, with new designs and decoration styles, the importance of cleanliness and hygiene has also increased in kitchens, which have become a living space where the whole family spends a lot of time and coexists.

Experts accelerate their work in this area and develop new products every day for people to live in a cleaner, environmentally friendly and germ-free kitchen. It is now possible to work without fear in the kitchen with detergents and cleaning products produced with the latest technology.

CLEANING PRINCIPLES IN THE KITCHEN

The basic rule of preparing delicious and healthy food is of course a clean kitchen. So how should kitchen cleaning be? We all know the most basic rules for a kitchen to always be clean and hygienic. However, while applying this, we have prepared a short list for your questions such as which is the right product, where to start or how to apply:

HOW SHOULD THE KITCHEN CLEAN?

Before washing plates, pots and food storage containers in the machine, be sure to clean the accumulated food residues.

If you keep the dishes open, the contamination and proliferation of microbes increases.

Remove food residues with a suitable spatula or brush before drying them. If it is not cleaned enough, you can wipe it with half, half diluted bleach before putting it in the machine.

Immediately clean up any spilled food. If you keep it waiting, this will prevent hygiene and cause permanent stains on the floor.

The oven, sink, cooker, and even the refrigerator must be clean at all times. Nowadays, although there are ovens that can do their own cleaning and refrigerators that provide hygiene with a special system, do not risk your work and do not neglect cleaning the device at regular intervals depending on the frequency of use.

If dishcloths and sponges are not cleaned thoroughly, bacteria will begin to grow on it within a few hours. This creates an undesirable situation in terms of hygiene. Therefore, after each cleaning, boil the cloths and dry your sponges without detergent.

After wiping your knife, which you used while cutting meat, so as not to contaminate other foods, soak it in boiling water and disinfect.

Food residues accumulating in the sink produce bacteria in a humid environment. Therefore, periodically disinfect your sink with chlorinated water or detergents containing bleach.

Pour a handful of salt and vinegar into the dirt-holding jug and rinse.

Rub the stainless steel pots and cutlery that have lost their shine with the juice of the lemon peel you have squeezed or with warm vinegar water.

Fill your old glass jug, which has lost its shine, halfway with newspaper, pour one third of hot water and shake well.

Teflon pans and pans that are used frequently turn yellow over time. To do this, once in a while, put some water and bleach in it and boil it. Then rinse first with hot and then cold water.

Bacteria that can be found in the juices of raw meat and chicken products can contaminate cooked foods and pose a danger. To avoid this, wash the counter and sink with hot soapy water or disinfect by adding a teaspoon of chlorine to four quarters of a glass of water and rinsing.

Wash oily bottles first with detergent. Then pour sparkling water into it and rinse for five minutes. Finally add coffee grounds and shake and pour.

You can polish sooty and blackened kitchen utensils by rubbing them with lemon peels that you have dried in the sun.
