Chicken Soup

Blend the cucumbers, basil, limes, lemongrass, sugar, honey, and 2 cups water together until smooth-ish. The color is gorgeous and the flavor is like a sweet and cooling waterfall for your mouth with just a slight bite from the lime because, yes, we put the whole lime in there.
Which will then be watered down further (to your liking!) and poured over ice to make the best thing you’ve sipped on all summer.The texture of the dough was the same, it rose the same, and it looked the same coming out of the oven with its hard crust. The inside texture was denser with not as many air pockets. The flavor was a little bitter and texture was a bit gritty, but to be expected with whole wheat flour.
I adore this soup.

So this time the thing that makes it special is the Crockpot. This is Chicken Wild Rice Soup meets Chicken Bacon Wild Rice Soup mashing up into Crockpot Chicken Wild Rice Soup. Translation: life just got easy and I’m going to go watch Breaking Bad now while my dinner cooks in a large kitchen appliance without my supervision thank you very much.
