What you’ll need:

Makeup brushes

Jar or cup of warm water

Toothpick

Nail polish

STEP #1. GRAB YOUR NAIL POLISH

Reach for your jar of warm water. You’ll want to use one that is as deep as the length of the longest makeup brush you want to marbleize. Add a few drops of two different nail polish colors to the water. Use a toothpick to swirl the shades together, forming a marble-like pattern.

STEP #2. COLOR YOUR BRUSH

Dip your brush into the water and rotate it so that it picks up the nail polish. Make sure to move quickly, or the nail polish will dry mid-application.

STEP #3. REPEAT THE PROCESS

Continue to drop, dip, and rotate the rest of your brushes until you’re left with a complete set of marble makeup brushes.
