Here step by step making “Chunky Twist Headbands”
YOU WILL NEED:
- 1 x 100g ball Rowan Big Wool or similar super chunky yarn.
- 1 pair 10mm knitting needles
- Gauge: using 10mm needles and working in K1, P1 rib
Cast on 15 stitches using 10mm needles
Knit 1st row, then work 46cm in K1 P1 rib (or length that fits comfortably around your head),cast off knitwise.
Fold band in half placing end of top half over centrestitch (7th stitch) of the bottom half.
Fold left side under the bottom
Fold right side over the top
Stitch in place.
Keep the same as flat as possible. Once all ends are sewn in, turn the band inside out.
