Mistakes During Manicure

“It’s my job to do a manicure at home!” and do you think you’ve mastered this business? You may be damaging your nails by doing many wrong actions to cut the cuticles, wrong nail files. Here are the most common 5 mistakes and truths in manicure…

1 – Do not cut your nails

  • If you are trying to shape your nails more than necessary before starting the manicure, then you are on the wrong path. Because you usually make it impossible to shape by cutting your nails longer than you want. Begin the manicure by first filing your nails, if your nails are too long, cut them in half and continue to shape the rest by filing.

2 – Don’t cut your cuticles

  • Do not cut your cuticles, push them inward. You don’t need a special product or tool for this! All you have to do is push back your cuticles while in the shower. It is very easy to do this as you soften your skin while in the shower.

3 – Back and forth rasping

  • File your nails only in one direction. Your nails lose their shine and wear out with back and forth movements.

4 – Your nails should be completely clean

  • Your nails should be clean before starting a manicure. You shouldn’t have any cream residue on your nail tops. The oily cream layer on your nail may cause difficulties while applying your nail polish. To eliminate this problem, drop a small amount of nail polish remover on a handkerchief and run over your nails.

5 – Don’t forget your nail tips!

  • While we are doing your own manicure at home, we forget the details before our eyes. The simplest example is not applying enough nail polish and preservatives to your nail tip. After applying your nail polish, check your nail tips by lifting your finger in the air. After applying your nail polish, apply a layer of nail polish protector, then do not forget to go over your nail tips with the tip of the brush. If you skip this step, the permanence of your nail polish will be less and your manicure will deteriorate in a shorter time.
