Doesn’t matter, but here I got 3 stitches and 4 rows per inch in the halfbrioche
stitch, after blocking.

82 inches (1.65 m) long and 10 inches wide, after blocking
with these instructions, but you can very easily adjust the
size.

INSTRUCTIONS

CO 30 stitches holding 2 strands of colour A together

Row 1 (WS): knit
Row 2 (RS): k1, k1 in row below
Row 3 (WS): knit
Row 4 (RS): k1 in row below, k1

Repeat rows 1-4 15 times, or until piece measures 13″ from
cast on edge, unblocked (or until desired length for the first
block is reached).

Cut one strand of colour A and pick up one strand of colour
B. Holding one strand of colour A and one strand of colour B
together, repeat rows 1-4 for 13″ (or desired length).

Cut colour A and pick up a second strand of colour B.
Holding two strands of colour B together, repeat rows 1-4
for 13″ (or desired length).

Cut one strand of colour B and pick up one strand of colour
C. Holding one strand of colour B and one strand of colour C
together, repeat rows 1-4 for 13″ inches (or desired length).

Cut colour B and pick up a second strand of colour C.
Holding two strands of colour C together, repeat rows 1-4
for 13″ (or desired length).

FINISHING

Bind off all stitches and weave in all loose ends. Block and
