US Size P/15 (10mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge, yarn needle, scissors

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS

Length: 22”, Circumference: 34”

GAUGE

2 V sts and 3 rows = 3.5”

SPECIAL STITCHES

V Stitch (V st) – [1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc] in same ch or ch space.

NOTES

1. Pattern is worked in joined rounds.
2. Ch 4 + 1 dc at beginning of each round counts as 1 V st.
3. Use a multi-colored yarn and it will reveal a subtle zig zag pattern in some places, or use two different colors and change colors each round to create a more obvious zig zag pattern.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Round 18: Sl st into ch 1 space in center of 1st V st, ch 4, 1 dc in same ch space, *1 V st in ch 1 space in center of next V st; repeat from * around, invisible join to 3rd ch & fasten off – 21 V sts.
