Robots, which have been serving in different production areas for years, have the advantage of taking on the human role in these days when the whole world is fighting the virus. Robots that do not have the risk of catching and spreading viruses can be used as service and service personnel.
In South Korea, LG is making significant progress towards actively helping people with smart service robots in living spaces such as hospitals, restaurants and hotels. Robot assistant LG CLOi ServeBot
Among these, the LG CLOi ServeBot can carry up to 15 kilograms of products in its three drawers and deliver them to the destination in an efficient and hygienic manner without a remote control. This summer, a robot assistant was assigned to collect and deliver equipment, blood samples, prescription drugs, and other items at the Seoul National University Hospital, one of the country’s oldest and largest medical facilities. Thus, hospital staff continued to take care of their patients without wasting time with such details.
