Why Can’t We Take Action?

  • What we cannot act or do in our social lives, those who are thought to be done briefly, those who are not able to act, negatively affect our entire life over time.
  • Make a list of what you have to do in your life. Categorize what you have written among themselves and number what falls within the categories. Now choose the top priority among the categories and go through the list inside. Start with what you accept at this stage and continue to do. Don’t start before you plan and set your priorities for taking action. You have to be fast, but that speed should definitely be after timing, planning, and goal setting.
  • Loss of motivation causes waste of time. The biggest reason for this is that you haven’t given yourself time for success or failure. If motivation is the most important reason to take action in your work, time is a factor to prepare it. Give yourself time in all steps as you prepare. The process you will prepare by acting quickly and hastily will not be efficient. It will be much more beneficial to take small breaks and try to look outside the process, maybe get ideas.
  • By dividing the path you aim to reach into small steps, you can stand more firmly at the resistance points your motivation may encounter. Divide your goal into small achievable goals and choose to move forward by feeling much more motivated as you progress to those small goals.
  • Put other things in between in your work on taking action, and support others. Do other things, like prepare food, water your flowers, read a magazine, watch a movie or do nothing and just focus. Sometimes you have to put aside the obligations and direct yourself to the flow. This way, by recharging yourself, you can return to your work and goals much more motivated.
